Acting for Fair Trade
Building a responsible value chain, in collaboration with partners, customers and suppliersWe aim to foster ethics, integrity and compliance in all our activities with our suppliers, customers and partners. Management and the teams specializing in these areas are therefore creating a culture where they lead by example. We underpin this culture with a body of policies and share it with all employees through numerous training courses. More specifically, we run targeted programs on anti-corruption and influence peddling, respect for competition, compliance with economic sanctions, data management, prevention of illicit trafficking and more.
Recent Achievements
We have achieved recently many milestones and initiated a variety of projects in this area. Among the most relevant is training nearly 92% of our employees on CEVA’s ethical code, One CEVA. One CEVA covers antibribery, fair competition and antitrust regulations, conflicts of interest, workplace integrity data protection to ensure that we all act in a responsible and fair manner.
In 2023, CEVA Logistics developed a new evaluation process for its new suppliers, taking into account CSR risk criteria, regulatory compliance and financial dependence.
In 2024, CEVA earned the EcoVadis Gold Medal with the score of 76/100 , scoring especially high in the Environment category (90/100). This places CEVA in the Top3% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis and in the Top 1% of our industry.

Be Exemplary in our Business
CEVA’s Code of Business Conduct, our ethical business code, covers everything from antibribery, fair competition and antitrust regulations, conflicts of interest, workplace integrity and protecting data to ensure that we act at all times in a responsible and fair way. All CEVA employees agree to abide by the code upon joining the organization.
Supported by a team of global and regional legal and compliance professionals, CEVA Logistics’ compliance managers ensure the implementation of the ethics and compliance program: anti-corruption, regulatory compliance, corporate compliance investigations, competition law, data protection, trade compliance (sanctions and export controls) and third-party risk management.
Adopting international standards enables the CMA CGM Group to operate more efficiently, to make its processes more reliable and to deliver high-quality services. In particular, the CMA CGM Group and CEVA deploy certifications for its management systems: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for the environment and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.
Safeguarding human rights through the value chain
We wish to work with companies that share our mission, vision and values in terms of compliance and integrity. We ask our main suppliers to respect the same level of commitment. The Ethics & Compliance department can determine due diligence procedures adapted to the type of goods and services concerned.
In 2023, we deployed our Sustainable Procurement charter to all new contracts. It sets out CEVA Logistics’ commitments to our suppliers in terms of environmental, ethical, social and human rights issues. We ask our suppliers to apply the same high standards to their operations.
