CEVA Logistics is moving forward in reaching its sustainability targets by improving energy efficiency through an AI-driven HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) technology. CEVA is collaborating with leading energy management company, BeeBryte, to introduce a new service that leverages advanced algorithms and predictive analytics to anticipate thermal requirements. The technology delivers up to 40 percent energy cost reductions without requiring structural modifications by automated control-command technology, ensuring energy optimization and operational efficiency.
CEVA deployed the BeeBryte technology in two of its multi-level refrigerated Singapore warehouses, where temperature control is critical. IoT-enabled temperature and humidity sensors, digital power meters and real-time monitoring dashboards enable automated and predictive control of the air-conditioning systems. The project has already seen great success, with CEVA achieving consistent energy savings of more than 30 percent annually, equating to more than 850,000 kWh per year.
Estimated annual energy savings
Approximately 850,000 kilowatts of energy saved per year
Following the project's success in Singapore, CEVA plans to extend the BeeBryte technology to several other global warehouses. Together, CEVA Logistics and BeeBryte are shaping the future of sustainable logistics by combining operational excellence with energy innovation, setting a powerful example of how industries can collaborate to achieve sustainability goals in the supply chain ecosystem.
