Enhancing connectivity with new multimodal ground and rail solution from China to Laos

CEVA’s integrated ground plus rail multimodal solution delivered immediate operational improvements for our customer. The new service provided 40% cost savings compared to traditional full-route truck transportation while reducing overall carbon emissions and only extending the delivery time by 3 to 4 days.  Beyond transport, CEVA’s comprehensive logistics services, including unloading, storage and local distribution, created a seamless supply chain experience with full visibility and control. This optimized logistics approach enabled our customer to meet critical project timelines more efficiently while significantly reducing overall logistics costs. 

CEVA offers a variety of block train solutions from China to Laos, to meet customers’ complex needs. Additionally, the service extends its reach to other Southeast Asian countries, including rail and road transport to Thailand, and road transport to Malaysia, providing an optimized alternative to traditional sea transport.
