3/22/2024

PROJECT OVERVIEW

A leading engine manufacturer for both the military and civil aviation transport markets wished to innovate supply chain operations and reduce cost. The scale of the customer’s operation presented challenges as solutions would need to work across 100 different countries.

Our customer's business challenges

The customer’s defence business unit has many thousands of engines in service with customers in over 100 countries. In the civil market, their engines power more than 35 types of commercial aircraft with many thousands in service around the world. With so many engines and parts in service the customer needed full end-to-end supply chain visibility and a fully digitalized supply chain.

TRANSFORMATION STORY

Our key actions to meet our customers' expectations

We delivered a series of integrated services to the customer including Supplier Management which catered for bookings, performance and compliance.

A digitalization program was undertake to deliver end-to-end visibility across the supply chain.  All the customer’s inbound and outbound transportation was placed under one program.  Exception management and alerting was introduced. 24/7 centralized communications and management was set up via three Control Towers.  A cost and KPI dashboard was set up.
