Moving the longest ever single piece on the cellular containerized vessel

The 43 metre long item required a range of multimodal services from pick-up at a factory in Zhenjiang on the banks of the Yangtze River in China’s eastern Jiangsu Provinice, north west of Shanghai through to final delivery in Algeciras, southern Spain.

Collaborating with our parent company CMA CGM and with privileged access to their vessels we were able to complete the project successfully

We organized pre-carriage from origin by flash barge and coordinated with ocean terminals in Shanghai and Algeciras to ensure this breakbulk operation went without a hitch. Road freight, the barge and ocean freight all formed part of the solution.
