Our customer's business challenges

Our customer had daily shipments from multiple US Distribution Center locations into its Brazilian manufacturing site. These shipments were small in terms of total kilos and great in number; meaning numerous import Customs clearances at destination.

Uneven departures and arrivals resulted from the varied and uncoordinated shipping pattern.

Our key actions to meet our customer's expectations

We introduced and then utilized a centralized pick up process from a single consolidated departure point.

We used CEVA’s US linehaul capability to perform pick-up and movements to MIA (Miami) for export consolidation operations.
We have been able to assemble multiple LCL (less-than- container load) shipments into a single Full Container Load.

We have introduced a weekly cut-off to ensure consistent departure and arrival intervals are understood and adhered to.
