As part of the CMA CGM Group, CEVA Logistics is firmly committed to protecting the environment. This aligns with the group's commitment to becoming Net Zero Carbon by 2050. CEVA Logistics offers its customers alternative fuel options such as biofuel, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and biomethane for vessels transporting Scuderia Ferrari's kits to race sites worldwide. Across the Formula 1 world championship season, Scuderia Ferrari's F1 engines will be powered by ethanol fuel, and by 2026, the race cars will be powered by biofuels, as Formula 1 is aiming towards Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2030.

Supporting Scuderia Ferrari on and off the track

The logistics operations behind racing sports are highly complex, fast-paced, and time-critical. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and external conditions such as weather and traffic often add to the complexities. At times, the Formula 1 world championship and events happen from one week to another, leaving only a few days for the team to disassemble, re-pack, and transport all equipment and resources to the right destination.

As a world class logistics partner, we rely on our leading global network across air, land, and sea, with the multi-year agreement covering the transportation of car and equipment shipments to Scuderia Ferrari events, both the F1 and GT racing series. Ensuring that the shipments arrive in the right place at the right time requires detailed orchestration of logistics flows from our team of experts, a high degree of visibility monitored from our logistics control towers, and seamless coordination while constantly connected.

The 2024 Formula 1 world championship includes 24 races, beginning on March 2 in Bahrain and ending on December 8 in Abu Dhabi. In addition, Ferrari is participating in 9 World Endurance Championships and 23 Ferrari Challenge races throughout 2024. These put together exemplify our commitment to meticulous preparations as we continue to showcase our expertise and capacity to manage busy logistics demands as a world class logistics partner of Scuderia Ferrari.
