Nathalie Léger: Promoting Gender Diversity in Logistics
Nathalie Léger shared her journey in the logistics industry, a field where men continue to be the majority. She believes the conversation around gender equality is moving too slowly, but at CEVA, we are pushing for progress. With leadership programs offering opportunities and networks, women in senior roles inspire others to believe, "Yes, it's possible for me too." Nathalie’s personal motivation comes from wanting her three daughters to pursue careers without limitations. "Logistics is an exciting world, and women should have equal opportunities to lead."

The gender Balance in Logistics: Beyond the Numbers
While progress has been made, particularly in workforce diversity, women remain underrepresented in leadership roles. This evolution showcases not only the advances but also the gaps that still exist. To drive real change, it’s essential to move beyond numbers and create an inclusive environment that offers equal opportunities at all levels. Overcoming these disparities will unlock the full potential of a diverse workforce, which is key to innovation and long-term growth.
How Gender Inclusion Drives Growth in Logistics
The logistics industry is growing rapidly, but gender representation remains uneven, particularly in leadership roles. While progress has been made in workforce diversity, women are still underrepresented in senior positions. Structural barriers and a lack of mentorship, especially in areas like maritime and trucking, contribute to these disparities. To drive real change, it’s essential to create an inclusive environment offering equal opportunities at all levels.
At CEVA Logistics, we have made significant strides with initiatives like our Women’s Empowerment program, which has led to more women in senior leadership positions. We also launched our Female Networking Group in partnership with Women in Logistics and collaborated with NOVUS to make logistics a more accessible career for women.
