Relocating 2 ship-to-shore cranes from Malta to Marseille

Our client needed to relocate two giant, ship-to-shore cranes weighing 1,700 tonnes each, from its terminal in Malta to its terminal in Marseille, France. The cranes were transported by ship. Our expert teams worked with a specialist partner, Fagioli, on this complex #logistics project, which involved engineering preparations, reinforcements and sea fastenings, loading and unloading by Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) and the sea transfer itself.
