CEVA Logistics Wins Green Innovation Award

 

Kuala Lumpur – Nov. 29, 2022 –CEVA Logistics received the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability: Green Innovation Award 2022 as part of MORS Group efforts in recognizing successful companies and individuals in Asia across two main domains; leadership and corporate social responsibility.  

The Green Innovation Award recognizes CEVA’s efforts in Singapore to act responsibly for the planet and achieving better ways to deliver its logistics services.

 

Implementing new technologies to reduce energy consumption

CEVA has implemented a number of initiatives over the last five years to reduce energy consumption and bring greater efficiency to its operations. CEVA facilities in Singapore incorporate the latest technologies to support this sustainability commitment.  The company has been implementing a new program to have greater visibility on the existing air conditioning systems energy use. The improved data feedback allows the company to control power flow to the air conditioning system. The new VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) technology helps reduce energy consumption by more than 30 percent. Given the success in Singapore, CEVA is looking at extending the technology to more sites across the world.
