CEVA Logistics: A Reliable Partner for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024

The logistics behind one of the world’s largest events are unsurprisingly complex. Requiring more than 30 months of planning and preparation, CEVA teams are working hard for this special occasion. From warehousing storage to transportation and critical planning, CEVA deploys its own logistics Olympians. Preparing the Olympic villages for athletes, setting up sporting stages and arenas, and managing on-the-ground operations requires nimble logistics, stable infrastructure and seasoned professionals.  

One of the key factors that sets CEVA apart is its extensive network of strategically located warehouses. For the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, four state-of-the-art CEVA facilities manage the storage, distribution and delivery of goods to various venues across Paris. With the capacity to store 85,000 pallets, these warehouses represent the equivalent of more than 14 soccer fields, highlighting the immense scale of logistics at play.  

The CEVA facilities are equipped with an advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS). The robust WMS optimizes every aspect of warehouse management, ensuring that the 85,000 pallets are efficiently loaded onto one of the 50 to 100 trucks that arrive at our facilities daily. By accurately matching the right items to the appropriate trucks, operational errors decrease, and efficiencies are realized. This system enables precise order fulfillment, benefiting customers, spectators, and, of course, the athletes.
