CEVA Logistics strengthens its presence in Spain with the opening of a new logistics facility in Tarragona, Catalonia

 

• CEVA, which already operates 40 logistics sites in the Iberian Peninsula, now boasts over 600,000 square meters of warehousing space in the region.
• The Tarragona platform is BREEAM “Excellent” certified, ensuring high sustainability standards.

TARRAGONA – Dec. 5, 2024 – CEVA Logistics strengthens its presence in Spain with the opening of a new logistics facility in Tarragona, Catalonia. The 18,000-square-meter warehouse dedicated to contract logistics represents a strategic advancement in CEVA’s ability to serve customers across key sectors and strengthen its leadership position in the Iberian market.

Strategically located south of Barcelona, a regional logistics hub, CEVA establishes itself as a reliable strategic partner for clients in key sectors including automotive, retail, industry and eCommerce. The new site will deliver customized logistics solutions tailored to address current market challenges.

The site boasts a modern design and is built to maximize efficiency and responsiveness in warehousing and logistics. It features 50 loading and unloading docks and ceilings over 13 meters high. The site is specially designed to handle large volumes of goods smoothly and safely, ensuring high quality storage and handling.

Certified BREEAM “Excellent” and equipped with solar installations powered by renewable energy, the logistics facility reflects CEVA’s commitment to sustainability and its ongoing efforts to improve the environmental performance of its global operations.

The site is staffed by 55 employees, with the capacity to scale up to 120 during peak periods, ensuring maximum flexibility and responsiveness to evolving customer needs
