Over the past five years, the Contract Logistics Innovation Awards at CEVA  have become a shining example of its commitment to creating value for its customers. At CEVA Logistics, innovation is at the heart the organizational culture. CEVA aims to drive results for its customers through creative solutions, forward-thinking, and imagination derived from its diverse teams. To CEVA, innovation is a collaborative and fluid process. This year, the 5th edition of the CEVA Contract Logistics Innovation Awards brought together thousands of CEVA employees from around the globe to participate in the selection of the most innovative projects to move forward at CEVA.

In the “People’s Choice” category of the competition, CEVA employees showcased the most interesting and best innovations from each region or country, allowing all CEVA employees to vote for their preferred project. This year, an impressive 22,500 CEVA employees engaged in the voting process.

In the “High Impact Innovation” category, a panel of judges—made up of over 70 CEVA Logistics experts— reviewed the details of each innovation project and voted for the most impactful ones. The three finalists then presented their projects to the CEVA Contract Logistics leader and Global Head of Innovation, who ultimately decided on the winner.

CEVA’s commitment to innovation is driven by its global innovation strategy, which emphasizes the need to stay competitive in a rapidly changing market. Customers and suppliers rely on CEVA to lead in innovation, paving the way for the logistics of tomorrow.

Growth of the Innovation Awards

Since their inception, the CEVA Contract Logistics Innovation Awards have experienced remarkable growth. Starting with nearly 3,000 votes in 2020, the event has gained popularity year after year. In 2025, nearly 23,000 CEVA employees engaged in the process, showcasing the increasing interest and commitment to innovation within the organization. The voting for this year's awards has just concluded, and the winning innovations will soon be implemented across CEVA’s operations at the local and global level.

This year, the project pitches ranged from large-scale automation solutions to AI-driven digital tools, all designed to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall customer experience. These innovations have helped customers optimize their operations—whether by increasing warehouse throughput, reducing manual processes, or streamlining inventory management.

To put these projects into perspective, the award-winning solutions have delivered tangible benefits. For example, a winning project introduced, “T-Sort Automation,” a robotic sorting system that significantly improved order processing speed and accuracy, helping customers handle higher volumes with greater efficiency. Another standout innovation was the “Scanning Camera for Hands-Free Processing,” which eliminated manual barcode scanning, reducing errors and accelerating warehouse operations. Additionally, the “Loading Truck Appointment Application” transformed dock scheduling by optimizing appointment slots, minimizing wait times, and improving the overall coordination between CEVA, customers, and transport providers.

Year after year, the Innovation Award continues to highlight solutions that break down operational silos, create more resilient supply chains, and enable consistent service excellence across geographies.
