YOUR ROLE                                                                                                                                                                                         Are you known for your equipment operation skills and passionate about warehouse logistics and organization? Do you enjoy working in a clean and efficient warehouse environment? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to execute essential operational processes and contribute to delivering results in a safe and efficient warehouse operation. You will perform various packing crating, loading and bracing of general cargo with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift, and various types of industrial power equipment.



  • Accurately measure lumber for cutting in preparation of building wooden pallets for cargo shipments.
  • Properly identify various types of lumber and plywood and determine appropriate grades, weights and types for specific shipments. 
  • Safely use drill press, band saw, nail guns and other power tools.
  • Band crates using banding equipment.
  • Load and unload delicate electronics for crating.
  • Cut stencils and mark crates.
  • Assist in receiving cargo by removing from truck by hand, or using manual equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack or forklift.
  • Perform duties of Distribution Specialists as needed.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one to three years’ experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Credentials: Forklift Driver Certification.  Valid state issued driver's license. Trade or vocational program certificate preferred.
  • Skills: PC literate. Basic typing and/or data entry skills. Knowledge of safe usage of various power tools used in the crating process (power saws, drill press, nail guns, banding equipment, etc.) General knowledge of types of wood used in the crating process (grades and types of lumber and plywood, and the differences of each).
  • Characteristics: Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. Good or corrected vision.  Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
