YOUR ROLE


As a Warehouse Operative you will be part of the logistics team, which has responsibility for all inbound, pick, pack, distribution and in factory logistics activities at our Hamble and Segensworth warehousing operations. Working in collaboration with an established team you will ensure that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time whilst ensuring operational and service excellence to meet overall team objectives.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Receiving and processing inbound goods
  • Move goods to designated warehouse locations
  • Support and control the processing of stock, including put away, picking kits and selection of parts for dispatch
  • Facilitating the dispatch of goods to internal or external customers
  • Maintaining quality standards whilst actively seeking improvements
  • Ensure all appropriate inspection and WMS system processes are completed accurately
  • Promote and follow all Health and Safety procedures and guidelines
  • Report all accidents, incidents, damages, near misses and hazards immediately to management ensuring swift actions are taken
  • Maintain hygiene standard across the warehouse and clean as you go
     

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

To be successful in your application you will have previous experience of working in a warehousing environment within a similar role. You will be a team player, who can also work alone where required, excellent communication skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and targets.

 

This role will require someone who is physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as unloading and loading vehicles, pick and pack and moving goods across the warehouse. You will also need to be flexible on working location dependant on organisational demand.

 

You will have a willingness to learn and be open to additional training to support site practices and objectives.
