This is a first shift opportunity, hours are from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.



The Receiving Specialist performs all duties associated with the inbound receipt of products from customers, manufacturers, and vendors. Utilize the warehouse management system and RF scanner to record all products received and placed into stock once quality inspection is completed.




  • Unload inbound deliveries, verifies pallet/carton counts, inspecting for concealed damages, stages and validates delivery receipt to ensure it matches what is physically received.
  • Uses warehouse management system to record receipts systematically, updating inventory timely, prepares and affixes both carton tags and container ID Tags as required.
  • Segregates none conforming products and completes ISO approval form that details the issues noted, informing the required parties immediately.
  • Responsible for clearing the dock of each receipt within customer SLA requirements.
  • Operate all material handling equipment in a safe manner.
  • Assist in daily clean up of facility.
  • Identify and report problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a professional, helpful attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors, and their departmental personnel.
  • Comply with all safety and OSHA policies.
  • Re-stacks pallets to conform to company storage system (VNA).
  • Provides cross training to other associates throughout the distribution center to maximize productivity.
  • Responsible for ISO training records for all receiving functions and recommends changes to business processes to optimize efficiency as required.
  • Responsible for additional tasks as assigned to meet or exceed the expectations of customers and CEVA Logistics management.
  • Assist in operating the facility in a cost effective manner.




  • High School diploma or equivalent with one year of experience in high volume and fast paced distribution warehouse is required.
  • Receiving experience in a distribution center is highly desired.
  • Basic competencies of math, workstation PCs, printers, stretch wrap, RF scanner, RF guns, and Material Handling equipment.
  • Avoids conflict, meets or exceeds commitments, welcomes feedback, contributes to building a positive team and puts success of the team above own interests.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for long periods of time. Regularly lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 100 pounds in a safe manner.

  • Work is performed in a noisy environment with seasonal extremes of temperatures. Associates occasionally work near moving mechanical parts/ equipment.
