Our Ocean operation based in Tamworth have an exciting opportunity for a customer centric and highly focused Ocean Export Coordinator where will ensure customer requirements are exceeded.




Reporting into the Ocean Export Team Leader, you will be part of a team of Ocean Export Coordinators dedicated to ensuring the branch executes all ocean export shipments efficiently whilst adhering to quality and compliance requirements.


You will act as the key point of contact for internal and external customer service teams where you will receive, manage, and monitor shipment bookings, registrations, and process customer orders. You will create and verify transport with intermodals teams to ensure pickup and delivery of customer orders ensuring all documentation is completed to accurately and to a high standard. You will utilise management systems to check shipment statuses, identifying and resolving incidents immediately to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience.


In addition to day-to-day activities, you may be required to actively participate in projects to meet operational and customer service excellence.




Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within ocean exports with some knowledge and understanding of customs processes and already be operating within a fast-paced logistics environment or ocean operation.


You will be strong communicator with the ability to form relationships internally and externally, possess excellent customer service skills, a logical thinker and natural problem solver who can prioritise their own workload with efficiency and accuracy.
