YOUR ROLE


In this role, you will work in support of direct sales jobs and, occasionally, indirect sales jobs to provide additional sales support to the primary seller for a specific product or solution. This position is responsible for working with new and prospective customers as well as internal clients to effectively discuss the features and benefits of CEVA product solutions. Responsible for learning the products and serve as an expert to the sales consultants and managers relative to product solutions. The expectation of this role is to develop and drive supporting a total solution-based sales approach as part of any offering.  Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Using in-depth knowledge of a specific product or family or products, acts as a business consultant to establish credibility with sales prospects through an understanding of their business issues and potential solutions involving the CEVA product(s).
  • Through specific product expertise, help the direct sales team grow the company’s market share locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Assists the assigned seller to help promote the product or product family to customers or channel partners.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and direction to a sales team specifically pertaining to a product or product family.
  • As appropriate, develop, identify and qualify new business development opportunities through various lead sources including sales team members and relationship managers.
  • Build strategic relationships with key contacts within client and potential client organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.
  • Develop and execute a business development plan that will lead to the successful growth of new business.
  • Provide direction for responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) on assigned product and ensure the delivery of professional proposals and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with all related CEVA policies, ISO guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Seek opportunities to propose solutions and improvements as related to product usage
  • Work closely with customers to understand their organizational pain points and effectively link product features and benefits to the customer’s needs to help promote sales
  • Understand and effectively presents and delivers presentations on CEVA products, features and benefits to new and prospective clients as well as internal clients to promote sales and product development
  • Continuously review industry trends and client feedback to anticipate future market needs
  • Proactively identify opportunities with external clients, document their current process in order to develop new sales opportunities.
  • Partner with all sales representatives in the pre-sales process to position product solutions services by understanding the customer’s mission critical requirements, to foster a convincing solution to meet business needs
  • Conduct consultation discovery sessions directly with prospects and customers.
  • Own and deliver roll-out of new offerings and services to new and existing accounts through sales team meetings.
  • As an integral member of the sales team, contribute in detailed qualification of opportunities, formulation of sales strategies and technical approaches, plans.  Ensure prospect/client satisfaction with all project deliverables.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years related experience in U.S. Customs compliance and minimum 7 years supervisory or managerial experience required. Minimum 7 years industry experience preferred.

 

Skills:  

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to create and conduct training and educational seminars for clients.
  • Ability to train sales teams on trade service products.

 

Characteristics:

  • Experienced in the design and development of KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics and methods for ongoing measurement of customer solution performance.
  • Requires strong customer focused orientation, and an in-depth understanding of the company’s international office network, company policies and procedures and both U.S. and international regulatory laws.
  • Ability to drive change in the company for improved regulatory service performance.
  • Ability to analyze complex logistics and import/export procedural requirements and work corroboratively with operations management to develop and implement effective solutions to meet customers’ needs.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies with a focus on managing solution driven strategy plans to achieve goals. Experienced in financial management (P&L’s, balance sheets, forecasting and budgets) to effectuate return on investments.
  • Ability to generate elaborate reports, chart, and graphs and write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and effectively presenting information and responding to questions from executive management, employees and all levels of customer positions within an organization.
  • Ability to respond quickly to sales and service issues in a diplomatically and tactful way.
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills and an understanding of business beyond core functional expertise. Demonstrated skills in organization group process, problem identification and resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and patience. Ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments. Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities. Able to work collaboratively with both business leaders and other information technology teams to deliver technology solutions.
  • Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition; handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization. Adaptable to changing needs of clients and goals of the company.
