Our Air Product have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Gateway Pricing Specialist to join their team based in Hounslow where you will provide and oversee the pricing and quotations process, including design, costing, risk mitigation, proposal and sign-off and provide professional and technical knowledge on a broad range of pricing and quotation policies, programs, and practices.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As the Air Gateway Pricing Specialist, you will review, complete and process local pricing and quoting, oversee spreadsheets, documents, databases, and system records and assist in country wide pricing policies. Provide basic analysis to ensure relevant data, pricing and quoting resources are prepared to generate customer proposals and feedback on issues, providing recommendations to resolve customer and internal requirements.
You will analyse and review operations, results, feedback, and related pricing information to determine trends, draw conclusion, interpret findings, and provide improved data to present results, proposals, and recommendations.
You will interpret and apply departmental policies and procedures ensuring adherence to compliance, rules, and regulations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this role, you will have proven pricing experience, ideally within an air-based freight forwarding environment, along with proven experience in developing and analyzing information and understanding and interpreting department policies and procedures and laws, rules, and regulations. It is also desirable to have supervising skills and experience in evaluating and making recommendations regarding staff, but this is not essential.
