YOUR ROLE


Our operation in Dartford has an exciting opportunity for an innovative and aspiring General Manager with a successful track record of service delivery, safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and people development.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Head of Sustainable Logistics you will provide direction across two warehouse operations by leading a team of supervisors providing management control through effective planning, organisation and communication to ensure all KPI targets are exceeded. You will support and embed a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement whilst maintaining a high standard of H&S, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

 

You will ensure compliance with all company processes and procedures, investigate service failures, and ensure remedial actions are put in place. Oversee stock control, processing of orders and maintenance of stock systems and inventory control as well as driving performance improvements through auditing processes and reporting mechanisms, identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams and ensure that all activities remain within quality and budgetary targets.
 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience of managing a complex 3PL warehouse operation, ideally within a healthcare sector with demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships. You will possess strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels. Experience of cost models and budget tracking along with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills are also key requirements for this role.
