YOUR ROLE

 

CEVA is undergoing significant transformation with multiple products and platforms being developed to support the business objectives. The Global Applications Team is responsible for developing and managing multiple in-house developed and off-the-shelf products that are being used globally by the Contract Logistics business within CEVA.

 

The Scrum Master will lead a scrum on the program to ensure that the workstream delivers the required outcomes, in line with agreed priorities and business objectives, for the CEVA Contract Logistics operations. The Scrum Master will be a role model for agile working practices, ensuring product value growth whilst increasing product delivery team effectiveness and confidence when working with Premium solutions.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owners, ensuring their deep engagement, ownership, and ongoing refinement of the Product Backlog so that clarity of scope and goals can be provided to the Development team prior to committing to deliver the work.
  • Get the team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
  • Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
  • Work with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project and\or product teams.
  • Protect the Development team from outside interruptions and distractions, surfacing and removing impediments to the development progress, actively coordinating with external teams to resolve dependencies, and timely escalation when beyond the team's control.
  • Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of product development project experience, ideally working as part of an Agile Team.
  • Fluency on English
  • Strong knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of warehousing and third-party logistics.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Cultural Awareness; open and interested to work in an international organization.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse technical workforce
