  • As a Intermediate Microsoft Engineer, you will be part of the CEVA IT Shared Services Server Operations Team that provides 24x7 support to CEVA’s I.T. Infrastructure. You will be responsible for system administration of all Windows Servers and underlying infrastructure and any related devices.
  • You will be expected to take ownership of maintaining the Core Infra and AD Services to prevent system outages and ensure high quality system availability.
  • You are also expected to have a deep understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, roles, features and services.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Administer and support CEVA’s core infrastructure services – AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Failover Cluster environment
  • Ensure a highly-available and resilient AD environment and an equally resilient Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Assist in DR tests, and patching of the Core infra and AD infrastructure on a regular basis using appropriate tools as applicable.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining all technical documentation for all operational requirements.
  • Administration and maintenance of the underlying server hardware.
  • Coordinate efforts with technology staff from multi-environment application (application/system/functional) to resolve technical issues.
  • Implement and support infrastructure projects as directed by the Service Owner or Team Leader.
  • Follow established policies and procedures and determine potential enhancements and improvements.
  • Maintain strict compliance with the approved Change Management procedure.
  • Provide support and coverage by participating in the 24x7 support rotaion approved for the team.
  • This includes coverage for gaps in the rotation due to holidays/vacation/ sickness etc.
  • Provide as required any data when requested to ensure correct management reporting or to ensure compliance with our operational standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

 

 

Education & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred or 1-2 years relevant work experience is required.

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years demonstrated experience supporting Windows Server operating systems. Knowledgeable in administering server high availability solutions like Microsoft Failover Clustering.
  • Working experience in Microsoft core infrastructure services – AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Failover Cluster environment
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience implementing and supporting complex DNS infrastructures with multiple domains, sites, and ingress/egress points.
  • Hands on in Powershell and scripting to automate routine tasks, configure settings, troubleshoot issues, and generate reports.
  • Knowledgeable in VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
