Linda Yu: Navigating Change with Excellence

Linda Yu began her journey with CEVA in 2003 as an IT professional. With a degree in Computer Science and Economics, Linda quickly distinguished herself with her attention to detail and a talent for standardizing processes. Her career at CEVA has been a series of seamless transitions and continuous growth.

Starting in IT, Linda excelled in managing IT outsourcing projects before moving to the procurement department, where she applied her rigorous approach to managing non-trade procurement. Her adaptability and commitment to excellence eventually led her to a role in intercompany finance, where she enhanced operational processes with her diverse experience across the company.

Linda’s philosophy is simple, “Strive for excellence, no matter the role.” This mindset, combined with CEVA’s supportive environment, enabled her to make significant impacts across the company. During the merger of EGL with TNT, Linda played a key role in rebranding the company’s identity, showcasing her versatility and creativity. Her contributions earned her accolades such as “Employee of the Year” in China (2006 and 2010) and the KAIZEN Country Challenge Award (China, 2009).

When asked why she decided to stay with CEVA for so long, Linda attributes it to the company's nurturing, continuous learning environment and endless opportunities for personal and professional growth. "CEVA provides a platform where you can continuously learn and adapt. The supportive culture and recognition of hard work make you feel valued and motivated."

For Linda, success is also about setting a positive example for her son. "The world is changing, and I hope to set a good example for my son, enabling him to overcome challenges in his life." Her dedication and openness to change have equipped her to navigate any career challenges, embodying the growth and resilience that CEVA values.

Min Ye: Embracing Change with Resilience

Min Ye, Contract Logistics Operations Manager, exemplifies resilience and adaptability in the dynamic world of logistics. With an engineering background in polymer materials, Min’s career took a pivotal turn when she transitioned into logistics, driven by the booming trade market of the late 20th century.

Min began her journey in a state-owned company in China, where she developed French language skills and practiced logistics in several French companies. This path led her to France where she studied Logistics Management. There, in 2003, she joined GEFCO, specializing in automotive logistics (which was later acquired by CEVA in 2022), marking the start of her logistics career.

In 2004, Min moved to China to lead the Contract Logistics business, beginning a two-decade-long career journey with the company. She returned to France in 2008 and then made another significant move from Paris to Shanghai in 2011. These transitions were not just physical relocations but strategic moves that aligned her personal and professional life.

Min’s shift from automotive logistics to a broader focus on contract logistics allowed her to expand her horizons. Reflecting on her experiences, Min shared, "I enjoy the change in my roles. Contract logistics is not boring. Through the changes, I became very experienced with all aspects of contract logistics operations, which allowed me to make a big impact on the company. It's important not to limit yourself, rather, maintain curiosity and be open to new things."

When asked about her long tenure with the company, Min highlights CEVA's supportive culture and the diverse opportunities for growth. " CEVA values its employees and encourages employees to learn, grow and explore new areas like an entrepreneur. The recognition of your hard work and the continuous learning opportunities keep you motivated and engaged."

Min recently marked a significant milestone—her 20-year anniversary with the company. As GEFCO transitioned to CEVA in 2022, Min seamlessly continued her career with the newly integrated company. Her ability to adapt during this organizational change demonstrates her resilience and commitment. As CEVA evolves and grows, individuals like Min play a pivotal role in shaping its future, ensuring stability and innovation in the logistics industry.
