Operational Update: Hurricane Harvey – Houston, USA

CEVA has and will continue to closely monitor the impact of Hurricane Harvey and updates regarding our operations are being communicated regularly.

The situation at 4pm Houston time; Wednesday, 30 August is as follows:

  • The Port of Houston will remain shut down through at least to Thursday 
  • Both Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) are reopening at 4 p.m. Wednesday with limited domestic passenger service only. The plan is to begin a phased return to service, with full service expected to be restored by this weekend 
  • CEVA’s IAH Domestic and Linehaul operations will restart on Thursday with reduced staff  
  • IAH corporate offices and operations will reopen on a limited basis Thursday as well.

CEVA cannot rule out the possibility that the above or other operations may be affected by current adverse conditions. CEVA works towards minimizing any potential impact to our customers.
