Our end-to-end approach also enables us to optimize service and costs across the entire supply chain rather than limiting gains to a local level. What's more, we can apply event management to your supply chain, detecting any deviations from scheduled activities and acting early to avoid disruption.

As your 4PL partner, we are more like an architect. We design the overall supply chain and select the third parties who will execute the operations. However, this is done on a transparent basis so you are fully aware of subcontractors' activities and tariffs and can be involved in selecting them if you prefer.
Our design capabilities enable us to optimize complex supply chains across several countries. We have proven experience in using network design tools like CAST (to determine how many stock locations are needed and where these should be located) and Paragon (to determine how many trucks are needed and when these should depart and arrive) and in designing the layout of cross docks and warehouses. We can simulate several scenarios and then, in collaboration with you, select the one that best meets your needs.
At CEVA we also have the tools to integrate information from multiple providers and provide full visibility across the supply chain. We can often reduce costs by more than 20% through better design and tighter control of subcontractors. By analysing KPIs systematically, we can propose changes in daily operations and trade-offs in service levels.
For example, as 4PL for a major car manufacturer we are responsible for bringing parts from dozens of different countries to plants in North America, although we do not carry out any transportation or storage operations. This responsibility is handled by a range of subcontractors.
Meanwhile, we provide complete real-time visibility over the full supply chain and resolve any issues when they occur. We also ensure that subcontractors' invoices correspond to the tariffs agreed and to the service provided. We provide full reports on the performance of each subcontractor and suggest improvements to improve service and reduce costs.
