CEVA wins contract with Embraer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 23 November 2009 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has signed a three year contract with Embraer (Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A.), the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial jets up to 120 seats and one of Brazil’s leading exporters.
As a result of this partnership, CEVA will supply spare parts on behalf of Embraer, for the expanding executive jet fleet market in the Middle East, as well as provide support to operators in North Africa and India. The logistics company will also be responsible for customs clearance procedures, stock management, pick and pack activities and express pick up services for aircraft on the ground, ensuring 24/7 operational coverage.

CEVA dedicates 700 square meters to Embraer’s activities in its Dubai distribution center, located near the Dubai International Airport (DXB), in the Jebel Ali Free Zone of Jafza region: around 3,000 parts are available in this warehouse, in order to satisfy customer and authorized service center requests.

This achievement, which will improve our service level, further confirms Embraer’s policy to work as closely as possible to its customers in each region.”
