South Africa, 11 November 2009 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has signed a one year agreement with Retailcorp Brands South Africa. Retailcorp is an organization involved in the retailing, promoting, marketing and trading of goods and services in the United Arab Emirates and Gulf region.
CEVA will offer Retailcorp a complete logistics service, managing 60.000 items, including clothes, sports equipment and footwear products, every year. The logistics operator will take charge of ocean and air products importations through Johannesburg and Cape Town hubs, managing customs brokerage and offer the company contract logistics solutions, ensuring direct deliveries to stores. CEVA will dedicate five vehicles to Retailcorp activities.
