Dubai, December 2008 - CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, today announced that its Sales and Marketing Director for the Middle East, Mr. Wade Thompson, has won the 2008 Log.Leo Awards prize in the "Innovator of the Year" category. The prize was awarded to Wade Thompson for the solutions he introduced in the Middle East for the management of the entire logistics chain. The LOG Awards is a key Logistics Industry Awards covering the entire Middle East and Levant areas and was sponsored by Deutsche Messe, one of the biggest trade fair operators in the world. The LEOs, which stand for Logistics, Excellence and Optimization, are regarded as the global benchmark for logistics companies operating in the region.
This important acknowledgement is awarded to managers and companies which stand out for their ability to advance the logistics sector through particularly innovative ideas and technologies, making processes more effective and efficient. The award was hosted by LOG.Middle East, the region's premier publication for the logistics and supply chain industry in celebration of its first anniversary.
