London, UK - 17 July, 2009 - CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has today announced the appointment of Leigh Pomlett as Executive Vice President for the UK & Ireland business.
Pomlett has spent the past 29 years working in the transportation and logistics industry. He started his career at Exel which was acquired by DHL in 2005 and was most recently, CEO, Mainland Europe for DHL Supply Chain. He left DHL in January, 2009 and will join CEVA on 8 September.
"Leigh brings a wealth of operating and business experience to our UK & Ireland operations," explains Bruno Sidler, President, Northern Europe for CEVA. "Having worked in various regions and sectors, his experience and knowledge will be beneficial for CEVA as we continue to grow our business across the region."
Pomlett will be succeeding Nick Cullen who is moving to the role of Executive Vice President, Business Development for Northern Europe in CEVA.
