CEVA appoints Carlo Rosa as Italian Managing Director

Milan, Italy, 15 July 2010 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced the appointment of Carlo Rosa as Managing Director for CEVA Logistics in Italy.

In his new position Carlo Rosa will report to CEVA’s President of Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa, Gianfranco Sgro, and will play a key role in further developing CEVA Logistics’ Operations Excellence program in Italy.

Rosa began his career in logistics at Sifte Berti, moving to TNT Logistics in 1998 as head of the outsourcing project for the Fiat production site in Belo Horizonte, in Brazil.
In 2000 Rosa handled the expansion of the TNT Group starting with the branch house in São Paulo in Brazil and over the next few years he devoted his energies to commercial and operations development, working with major multinationals in the automotive and industrial sectors. In 2005 he returned to Italy to head up the Electronics Division, subsequently extending his responsibilities to cover other market sectors and, in 2008, also the national transportation network.

Rosa will draw on his vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the supply chain in practically every market sector to drive business growth, particularly in the technology and consumer contract logistics business in line with CEVA’s global strategy.

Rosa is 42 and married with three children. He graduated in Aeronautical Engineering at Milan Politecnico.
