Strike maritime traffic controllers

Please be advised that the maritime traffic controllers will commence to strike this evening.

Tomorrow, February 14th, they will be joined by the maritime pilots and tugboats (BLV Beroepsvereniging van Loodsen) and their Unions. This means that they will adjust working hours to ‘office hours’, hence immobilizing the shipping industry.
Based upon information we were able to gather so far, vessels will not be able to enter or leave the port of Antwerp on February 14th.

The length of strike-periode has not been confirmed yet.

Our CEVA offices will be open and working, however we trust on your understanding that this situation will disturb normal work.
